Eress ("AIR-ess") is a producer, songwriter, and vocalist based in Madison, WI. Her digital roots draw from a long history of loving synths, particularly those found in 80s synth pop, 2000s electronica, and a wide range of EDM. After several years focused solely on her other work as Mary Sweet, Eress is bringing her Dreamscape back to life with new singles, new vibes, and the stories she's no longer afraid to tell.

Born from the convergence of analog heart and digital soul, Eress's journey began in the physical realm. She was a songwriter first, compelled to write her emotions into reality in a world that denied their existence. She says the words saved her, as she has always used writing and music to process her experiences. In the background, Eress honed her production style over the years to create synth-y, bouncy, layered tracks filled with "little complexities" that make even the most difficult human emotions take on a silver lining.

Her music is a catchy, dreamy, sing-it-in-the-car combination of vibes from artists like Erasure, Ava Max, Mabel, Tove Lo, and other artists that tell their deepest secrets with deeper synths.

Now, after garnering over 9M streams and numerous achievements with her EDM songwriting and vocals as Mary Sweet, she is bringing her captivating energy and her passion for untangling complex emotions back to the project that has long sat on hold: herself.
